So lovely. The first time I used it I almost didn't want to wash the soap off because it smelled so lovely. Such a great idea as well!

Not as ‘soft’ as I was hoping :/

I was excited for this but it left my skin feeling dry and tight which, especially for the price, is quite disappointing :(

Its also disappointing that it’s not even reducing waste as the packaging isn’t compostable or even recyclable.

Hi William, sorry to hear you found your skin tight after using Soft Wash. It has many more hydrating ingredients than regular formulas so I'm surprised (and it's the first time) to hear this! Regarding the 'reducing waste' aspect, the waste reduction in using this product is: 1 new bottle not wasted for each sachet, 500g thereabouts of carbon emissions from heavy shipping not wasted for each sachet, reductions in the manufacturing process by not producing a new bottle or heavy liquid product... so there is actually so much waste reduction. The sachet is a small percentage and it is explained on the product page why we had to use a material that isn't compostable. Nothing is perfect. We have to make gains where we can or else nothing changes.

I have been using the new soft wash in the shower and also for generally when washing my hands in the sink. For starters, the bottle itself is so sleek and practical and setting the powder to gel up was easy and quick. The scents are phenomenal and it really does leave my skin feeling smooth, clean and moisturised. An amazing multi purpose wash!
